THE DESIGNER

Hi there! My name is Joana Jordao and I’m proud to say that I’m a Graphic Designer and the owner of Cherish Impression!

Born in southern California and raised in Brazil, I was always passionate about arts and everything that make our lives unique. Since high school, I knew that I wanted to work with beautiful things that somehow will make a difference in people’s lives. Given a little time I have finished my bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, achieved a Digital Marketing certification, and learned some other skills like photography, arts, languages, and piano. Yes, that is right. I love playing the piano, even though I’m terrible at it.

For nearly 10 years I have been helping people and organizations creating unique designs that express people’s story and brands’ identity. With my work, I always go above and beyond, doing everything that I can to exceed expectations and to translate my client’s dreams into a beautiful visual composition that he or she will cherish forever. Pictures, fonts, colors, textures, and many other details, can transform the image of a brand and set expectations for important life events.

THE STORY BEHIND OUR LOGO

Cherish Impression’s logo aims to translate the company’s most important purpose that is to create a unique design that has value to YOU. With this in mind and after countless hours of brainstorming, our logo was inspired by the images of a pearl and a pencil. Why? Well, the pearl has a rich meaning of something with the finest quality, high value, rare, and it is a representation of beauty. All these references translate Cherish Impression’s values. The pencil on the other side expresses the idea of creation and design. Your imagination is the limit, you only need a pencil and a piece of paper to make everything possible!

The final result of combining the two elements, pearl and pencil, is our logo. While it is an important symbol of Cherish Impression’s values, I know that in the end, your experience with us and the final result is what describes the brand. Therefore, I will work hard every day and put all my love into every project to live up to what our logo represents. I can’t wait to create a meaningful design for you.
